2019 Women’s Forum Hosted by Touro University and Women’s March, Vallejo

 

On Thursday, March 21, Touro University California (TUC) will host the 2019 Defining a Woman’s Agenda, a dialogue celebrating local women’s voices on a variety of issues facing society today. TUC students will facilitate a discussion on topics related to women’s rights, building community, and equity. Topics will range from health, wage equality, sexism, and more. All are welcome to gather, learn, collaborate and network.

 

WHO:   Voices of women leaders from throughout Vallejo. All are welcome.

 

WHAT: A forum for women to come together and discuss the local and national issues. TUC students will facilitate a discussion on issues facing women.

 

WHERE: Farragut Inn Ballroom, 1750 Club Drive, Mare Island, Vallejo, CA 94592

 

WHEN: Thursday, March 21, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

 

WHY: It is important for women’s voices to have a platform to inspire the community, network with each other and build a program of action to promote women’s rights. The forum will serve as an opportunity to celebrate the women who are shaping our community and connect TUC students with local leaders to talk about the issues facing women today and brainstorm potential solutions.
