TUC’s Environmental Justice and Public Health Lecture Series: Community Action for the Environment – Equity & Economy

 

(Vallejo, CA) – On Monday, November 11, Touro University California (TUC) will host the final lecture in its free, fifth Annual Social Justice in Public Health Lecture Series. This year’s focus is on environmental justice and public health examining the ongoing impact of environmental risks on our health.

 

In the final lecture of our six-lecture series, the California Air Resources Board’s Assistant Executive Officer for Environmental Justice, Veronica Eady, will discuss how economic factors impact environmental risks in California’s communities and the actions being taken to increase equity for all.
